Payment, Shipping & Refunds

One hardware unit and one software subscription. Prices are per unit and exclusive of GST and delivery, both of which are added and itemised at checkout before payment.

• Alfa Hexa — ₹12,000 (list ₹14,999, less a launch discount of ₹2,999)
• HazardX dashboard — ₹999 per year, one per workspace regardless of how many units you buy.

The launch discount is a genuine reduction from the list price and is shown as its own line on every invoice. It can be withdrawn at any time; an order already placed keeps the price it was placed at.

GST is charged at 18% on the whole taxable value — hardware, services, the subscription and delivery — and is shown as a separate line before you pay. Prices quoted elsewhere on this site are exclusive of it unless the line says otherwise.

Units ship from Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Delivery is estimated from the state you give us at checkout and shown as its own line before payment — it is an estimate for the consignment, not a per-unit charge multiplied out, so a second unit in the same box costs far less to move than the first.

• Madhya Pradesh — from ₹250, typically 2–3 days
• Neighbouring states — from ₹450, typically 3–5 days
• Mainland India — from ₹650, typically 4–7 days
• East & far north — from ₹850, typically 6–9 days
• North-east, hills & islands — from ₹1,500, typically 8–14 days

These are working estimates for the first unit, not guaranteed delivery windows, and the courier’s own timetable governs. Deliveries outside India are quoted separately once we have the address. Title and risk pass on delivery.

An engineer visit to mount, connect and commission the unit is offered as an optional line at checkout, charged once per order however many units it covers. Choosing to install it yourself costs nothing and does not affect the warranty below. Visit dates are agreed with you after the order; they are not a delivery commitment.

Payments are processed by Razorpay, in Indian Rupees. UPI, cards, net banking and wallets are supported — whichever Razorpay offers your account.

Card and UPI details are entered inside Razorpay’s own payment window and never reach Alfa HazardX. We store only the identifiers Razorpay returns, which are enough to trace a payment and not enough to make one. The amount charged is calculated on our server from your saved configuration, and a payment is treated as complete only when Razorpay’s own signed confirmation verifies — never on the strength of your browser reporting success.

There is no auto-renewal and no standing mandate on any product. The dashboard year is billed as a one-time line on your first order; renewal in a later year is a new, separate decision.

• Before dispatch — cancel for any reason and receive a full refund, including delivery and any deployment fee. Email us with your order number.
• After dispatch, unit unopened — return it within 7 days of delivery for a refund of the unit and the subscription. Return carriage is yours unless the unit was faulty or wrongly supplied.
• Faulty or wrongly supplied — we repair, replace or refund, and we pay the carriage both ways. See the warranty below.
• A completed engineer visit — not refundable once the visit has taken place, since the work has been done. Cancel before it is scheduled and it refunds in full.
• Failed or duplicate payments — refunded in full as soon as we see them, without you having to ask.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method through Razorpay. We initiate them within 5 working days of agreeing the refund; how long the money then takes to appear is your bank’s timetable, typically 5–10 working days.

Hardware carries a 12-month warranty from delivery against manufacturing and component defects. We repair or replace at our option.

It does not cover physical damage, water ingress beyond the enclosure’s rating, modification, or use outside the stated environmental conditions. Consumable gas sensing elements drift and age; they are covered against defect, not against normal end of life.

Alfa HazardX is not a certified life-safety instrument. It is sold as a supplementary monitoring layer to be deployed alongside your certified statutory detection equipment, never in place of it. Nothing in this policy, and no warranty in it, should be read as a guarantee that a hazard will be detected. Your statutory obligations remain yours.
